My first book, in Italian (English translation of the title: Nothing but Vulnerability: Sacrifice, Equality, and Antispeciesism), was published in 2020 by A&G - Cuecm.

The question of the animal is, first and foremost, a question of violence against animals — an institutionalized violence that has “always” turned them into the object of an unpunished extermination. This book offers a genealogical interpretation of that “always,” a temporal reference that makes explicit the idea that violence is the inalienable foundation of the anthropological machine: the complex set of dispositifs that produce the dualism between the “Human” and the “Animal.” Through an engagement with René Girard’s theory of sacrifice and with continental and feminist approaches within antispeciesist thought, the dimension of vulnerability emerges as a potential fracture line within this dualism and as a basis for envisioning new, non-violent forms of human–animal relations.​
